Dr. Phil Radakovich
Dr. Phil Radakovich graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ames, Iowa in 1985. After graduation he worked at a small animal hospital in Naperville, Illinois for 4 years. There he met his future business partner, Dr. Jerry Immethun. Together they opened Marketplace Animal Hospital in May of 1989. Dr. Radakovich has six children that keep him busy and "young"......so he says! He enjoys golfing, biking, reading, and walking his dogs in his free time. He is an active member in the Latin Mass Community of St. Philippine Duchesne Catholic Church. Dr. Radakovich enjoys both the medical and surgical cases he sees at Marketplace Animal Hospital, but truly loves being a part of the human-animal bond that brings so much joy to our families.
Dr. Jerry Immethun
Dr. Jerry Immethun grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, the second of four children. He attended the University of Missouri, graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. While in school he met and married his wife, Joan, with whom he has three adult daughters. He enjoys hanging with the grand kids and going to his small farm where he exemplifies the statement, "the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys!" He also enjoys fishing and do-it-yourself projects of all types......he is really just too cheap to pay someone. At work, Dr. Immethun likes both medical and surgical cases. Looking back through the years, he feels blessed to have come to know so many pets and the owners that love them. He feels very lucky to have been in a profession such as veterinary medicine where there is opportunity to help both pets and their owners.
Dr. Brian Godsey
Dr. Brian Godsey's love for animals started when he was very young. He started working for Marketplace Animal Hospital, as a kennel worker, when he was in early high school. After 7 years in Manhattan, Kansas, attending Kansas State University, Dr. Godsey returned to Marketplace Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2011. He is married to another veterinarian who also practices in the area. In his spare time he enjoys working in the yard, running, and taking in nature while walking his dog, Bella, a cattle dog mix.
Dr. Elizabeth Craig
Dr. Elizabeth Craig grew up in Conyer, GA where she was the middle child with two brothers. She attended Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2018 before moving to Kansas City with her husband. She enjoys both surgical and medical cases and while she loves working with all species, she has a special bond with her feline patients. When Dr. Craig is not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and catering to the needs of her cat, Birch, and her dog, Hershey.
